Tekken 6 Online Patch Is Now Available !
Yes the moment you've all been waiting for has finally arrived ! A patch to solve the tedious online play in Tekken 6 is now available for you to download, free of charge, for both Xbox 360 and PS3. The updates as IGN quotes it are:
- "Improve input response - Improve game's
responsiveness to button/command inputs.
- Selectable search priorities for ranked matches
- Players will
be able to set search priorities for opponents in ranked matches based
on comparable rank or connection speed quality as well as area.
- Optimize data transmission between fighters and
spectators –
The fight data will be optimized in order to reduce the bandwidth load
on the host's console.
- Signal strength bars – The update will improve
the signal strength bar to reflect connection quality more accurately.
- Chance to cancel match - The update will allow players to cancel the match before it begins after displaying the opponents signal strength."
My personal view is: at least it's playable now ! You must understand that Tekken will most likely never have offline gameplay or even close. But at least you can now have some fun ! In my opinion the online play is as slightly better than that of Tekken 5 DRO. Hopefully now we get a team battler oneline patch....
