Namco have just confirmed that they are examining the prospect of having seperate characters exclusively available for xbox 360 and playstaion 3 entertainment system. Namco claimed that "It is something we're considering, but it is pretty difficult."  Although claimed to be hard, don't be suprise come July, that Tekken has indeed gone and followed the same route its sister ,Soul Calibur, had taken.
    It would be hard to guess the exclusive characters, after having Star Wars characters in Soul Calibur the possibilities could really be endless. Some of the nostalgic gamers may want to see the return of old favorites such as Kunimitsu (below) , but it's seems unlikely now that most of them have already been replaced.
