Yeah, from some of the things I've heard/read people don't like him mainly for the fact that he "stole" Jin's spotlight like you said. Though, when it's time to change the protagonist a lot of games/shows do this by simply introducing someone new. The same old Mishima feud gets boring after a while and I personally find it refreshing how T6 was more focused on Lars for once.

Though I wish Namco gave us a bit more background on him. I mean, it's fine to have him all mysterious at the beginning of the game, but as you progress maybe give us little tidbits about his past. Still don't even know how the hell Heihachi ended up knocking up Lars' mom xD

You know what I've been wondering the same thing to How did Heihachi end up with such a woman. and what the hell was he doing their in the first place oh well but we will find out soon enough. Maybe just maybe, tekken 7 will tell us more about his past...Heihachi you one sick man

I don't know if keeping Lars as main is good but I hope he won't turn like Jin who is able to defeat everyone and get a win streak...

I dont know really, I mean Kazuya and Jin do have the devil gene dont they? and Lars doesn't. which would be totaly weird if he suddenly had one the whole time, I mean imagine a devil Lars . so yeah as much as I love Lars, I would say in my opinion, both Kazuya and jin, since their equal in strength.

So? Then canonically, at that point in time, they are the strongest. The means by which they become the strongest is irrelevant.

Lars may not look anything close to a Mishima on the outside, but on the inside he is one. Same time I dont like the Idea that he turned out to be a Mishima, but I have to get use to it And Then again I have respect for all the Mishimas. With all of my heart, I LOOOVE LARS.
