I heard the news on YouTube a few months ago saying Megaman is no longer the mascot of Capcom and as for Pac-Man, I hope he's not eating the ghosts on the game. xD

These characters are nothing more than exclusives, and shouldn't be taken seriously, they are supposed to be a joke, but I agree that there's something wrong with this Megaman.

Why wouldn't they? The developers have said they've tried to make sure the guests don't have an unfair advantage.

They might turn out to be fun characters to play as. Besides there are always going to be characters you get sick of fighting online.

Besides both Street Fighter and Tekken get pretty goofy without these guests. Kuma is a bear that attacks using a fart, seriousness went out the window when that reveal trailer happened.

heh it's hard to explain but characters like kuma roger and other "unusual" ones is fine for me... but guest characters that does not fit the game isn't... i love guest Ezio in SCV and he is the perfect guest...and packman, megaman imo = SCIV Darth Veider = fail xD...

I quite liked Darth Vader in Soul Calibur IV myself. Anyway I think these guys fit in quite well considering not only the cast but the stages. Besides remember Gon?

yeah playing as Gon with a friends on the same console was quite hilarious xD so mutch wtflolz... and i find characters like gon\roger was made right for this purposes =)

This is the first time I want to play Megaman on a fighting game XD

but for real, can't you'll all just shut up and take the joke? Beside, Ono already said it wasn't their idea to uses this Megaman, so hate the people that told him the idea in the first damn place. Nothing is always supposed to be take seriously, I swear to God, this is like one of those kids rage-quitting when there a joke character. Just deal with the fact that there always gonna be a joke at one place or another in a fighting game.

The last post in this thread was early february. People have become more accepting of Mega Man now and many even like him. I'm really looking forward to playing as him myself.

I'm not necessarily a big megaman series fan but I like the idea that he is on the game tho. I actually really like his look he seemss pretty hilarious and kinda clumsy as well
