No. It works like this

Your Jin/Ling team for example.

If Jin is getting beat Ling will get netsu pretty quick(+1). But if ling is taking a beating it'll take some more HP until Jin gets netsu(-1).

Or you could just get hit by a tag assault for instant netsu.

Anyway, people should just dig more into the story if they wanna know why the character relationship is like that. I don't think it was made randomly.

Also in Asuka/Lili case... What if Lili 'dislikes' Asuka in a friendly way? I mean, she just seeks her as her rival, she holds no serious grudge against her. She was quite happy to fight Asuka in her T6 ending. That's why she likes her, but as her rival. Asuka on the other hand... Doesn't understand that and sees Lili as a problematic, rich girl that for some reason always want to fight with her arrogantly.

Actually, it does make sense. Yoshimitsu stole from Ganryu and gave the money to Law (to help with his financial problems) in one of the earlier Tekkens. I can't remember which one it is but I read it somewhere.

So, if I play against two character who have both bad synergy, for example Anna and Nina, I shouldn't use TA in my combos until the very end to not give them free Netsu/Tag Crash. Would it be a good idea?

Yes it would. And of course if its a team with good synergy you might aswell start with a TA juggle. Since a regular combo would probably give them netsu anyway but for less damage.

Oh and their canon, they are all relationship based on Tekken 6..and its obvious why Kaz doesn't like Jun, Christie doesn't like Eddy, Jin doesn't like Jun, etc. Just have to know the story well enough....

Because he respects Paul as a fighter, Law like you said, and Jin is the current king of the iron fist.
