TTT2 Changes

Postby Delayne » Mon May 16, 2011 10:55 pm

-df3 is now a homing move. Seems to be like a slower version of fengs b4
-rs d3,4 has been removed and has been changed to different move

4,3f is a horrible move
df4,3 is good but howwrong has no more 13f punisher

jf skyrocket combo nerfed. ls 3~4 on hit sends opponent even further away now. < apparently this is wrong
1,2,4 fla df4 its hard to pick up afterwards. < this is too. I 'll check later
wall ls 3~4 after ls3~4 b2 b! no longer hits.
ss4 nerfed
b+4 buff
ws4 hits like old days
ls b3 ff4 hits like in old tag
bb4 is now d3+4 meaning he no longer has a generic d4 from standing.

overall NERFED

Disappoing.

Seriously I felt he was pretty balanced, particularly when looking at other chars (i.e. Bryan), he didn't need a serious nerf.

Out of my own interest seeing as I whore this move like its nobody's business, can someone kindly find out what about ss+4 was nerfed specifically? Damage or frames? Because it doesn't look like (visually) anything was really altered (i.e. still only launches on CH etc)

flamingo sweeps were nerfed too. you dont get a full B! juggle anymore

also hwo's new lars ff43 looking move seems pretty good. pretty much the same as lars's except knocks down

@razer
since you dont know the other chars really. BR hwo is bad. one of the last chars to receive any sort of nerf

These were my thoughts too, there seemed to be a lot of new opportunities for mixup also.

He didn't seem so bad. But imho he didn't need more nerfing.

I think the SS4 nerf is that it now gives a FUFA juggle on CH.

And is that JFSR nerf about RFF 3~4 or LFF 3~4? If its for LFF 3~4 it better not be true, thats my go to move for starting the juggle when i land a JFSR or SR. T-T

Hwoarang didn't need juggles some times because some of his moves can deal big dmg I remmber in tekken beat jinpanchi in 8 second

Alot of characters, if not all, can deal great dmg without juggles, but it doesn't mean characters shouldn't have them.
Juggles r a big part of tekken's gameplay and it's free dmg, so its always great to have good juggles.

His juggles aren't that difficult, its just a matter of practice.

Off the top of my head for changes:

-- JFSR is now -10 on block (inatekken)
-- ws3 is now i13
-- uf3+4 is now -10 on block
-- LFF/LFS d3,4 = NC
-- One of his new kicks (via FLA) gives +9 on block, the other gives +6

Tier:

1st update -- B
2nd update -- A
3rd update -- S
4th update/current -- B

I've been thinking... if it still has DAT PUSHBACK, then it'd be kinda immense. Last I remember, the likes of Lars could f+2,4 a blocked JFSR. Now it'd be safe and a bit ranged like Jin's f,f+2, but a launcher.

From what I've seen in regards to pushback, its pretty much the same, Abhi; sooo a big 'woot' is on the cards ;D

Only thing I'm seriously annoyed at is uf3+4 now being -10, I'm going to make absolutely sure when I go to Tokyo in two and a half weeks. If so I'm gonna have to cut it out of my routine because I use that move so much ._.

@Delayne : df3 is the mid move that could go into RFF after 4. or df3,3 is mid mid, delayable, very good on counter, and guaranteed f33(Fast) or JFSR. what you meant was the df4,3 mid high 14f.

@EternalBlaze : 4,3f is an awesome move. 12f into mixup. It's very good to create pressure for the opponent. My fav move ^ ^. Also, you don't need

JFSR COMBO HAS NOT BEEN NERVED, still the same.

SS4 has been nerved just a little, timing the pickup is a bit harder also it has different animation than T6BR.

Changes :
-LFS uf3+4,4 has been added 14f mid, high, mid -10 if you do the second one and -13 if you do all three.
-RFS d4,4 low, high +9 on block :) such a good move on block.
-RFS d4,3 low,mid -13/-12 on block wall splat
-df4,3 is the new mid high 14f Homing move.
-d3,3,3 low, high, high into LFS .NC on hit and the tracking has been nerved or removed.
-d3,4 low high into RFS. NC on hit and the tracking has been nerved or removed.
the slow sweep move can be followed by the WS+3 B! nerved, but it can still be a good damage with TA combos, hopefully you have the partner to follow up after the Bound.
-LFS df+3 & RFS df+4 Bounds
-LFS d+3,4,RFS 4 does not knock opponent down anymore.
-WS4,4 has bigger hitbox and apparently a bigger advantage on hit.
-d3+4 has been removed, and changed from the move bb4 move from T6BR. good move after the Solo Hwoarang bound move. easy to do and you can do the running mixup follow up afterwards.
-ff2 grab has been changed to b2+4.

let me know if you guys would like to test any other moves.

so the Tag 2 Unlimited came lets see hwoarang changes now

d+3 Homing performance was weakened.

4,4,3 gained some attacking power (which means it does more damage....nice)

f,f+4 Was to be able to put on the technique in dash, even though the opponent is behind.

1+4 (UB) Homing ability was weakened.
Has lowered attack power.
Has changed the behavior of the opponent when an attack hits.
Has changed the behavior of the opponent when an attack hits the opponent is in the air.

i will update the list soon as possible but first i need you all to check out this video and see hwoarang changes....

d+3 Homing performance was weakened. -- Ballsss. I'll keep this in mind next time I'm in the city.

f,f+4 Was to be able to put on the technique in dash, even though the opponent is behind. -- "technique in dash"?
