yea I agree with that Leo would be more of a suitable opponent for Makoto their speed is pretty equal but I still think Makoto would win that match but it'll still be cool to see. And I can see that match happening too even though they might have to take out some of Cammy's moves to make it more even.

1. Nina Vs Chun LI - would be epic, an international assaasin vs an Interpol. Could see then absolutely hating each other, also thier oppisites.

Also it would be cool is Nina's finisher was that X ray thing from Death by Degrees. Since the Engine uses the analog stick.

2. Steve vs Balrog/Dudely- both could be sub bosses for Steve, and way I was think a 24/7 parody woul be funny since there would be a lot of trash talking. Also since the game isn't canon Nina and Anna could be Steve's trainer

This is off topic but it's too bad they're not doing Tekken x Street Fighter/SNK because I think that Geese Howard would fit into a Tekken game pretty well.

I just noticed this question. I'll adress it now. Better late than never, I guess.

Well, their respective discliplines (boxing & kickboxing) are an odd pairing but so would be boxing versus any other discipline besides boxing. If you only factor in the characters' fighting style, when looking for a matchup for Balrog, you kind of limit yourself to matching him with Steve because boxing is rather unique among fighting disciplines in that it excludes the use of kicks. I haven't heard anyone present a matchup for Steve besides Balrog or Dudley and I haven't heard anyone present a matchup for Dudley and Balrog besides Steve.

I'm taking into consideration other factors, besides fighting styles, like personalities. Balrog and Bryan have some things in common. They are both villains. However, they are both not truly "evil" in the way that most people think of when they hear that word. For instance, Balrog is not motivated by some unearthly, supernatural, "evil" force like Akuma is. The same can be said for Bryan, when compared to say...Devil Jin. Balrog and Bryan are just really nasty, cold-hearted dudes who thrive on destruction and crushing their enemies. There's not really anything else to it.

Also, though they do not share the same fighting disciplines, their approach to fighting is similar. They both have a very aggressive attitude and share a sort of "swing for the fences" approach. When Balrog and Bryan attack, it's like they're trying to take your frickin' head off. "Violent" is the word I would use to describe both their personalities and their approach to fighting. I think that this would make for an entertaining matchup, even though one's a kickboxer and one's a boxer.

As a Street Fighter and also a Tekken fan you can point the obvious similarities in both and create great rivalries

Sakura and Asuka. In one of Sakura's prototype designs in the SFZ2 Secret Files there is a design which looks similar to Asuka Kazama's design with the Hakama and the headband and stuff. They also seem to be similar in personality, they are persistant and try not to give up.

Karin and Lili are Sakura and Asuka's respective rivals so it would be perfect for these two to be rivals with each other. If Karin doesn't make it however probably Ingrid would be a great rival since of the similar appearances.

Ryu and Kazuya would make sense since Kazuya was originally the main protagonist of Tekken and Ryu has been a protagonist of Street Fighter since the first game where he was the only playable Character (unless if you are on the 2P side, in that case you would be Ken)

Ken vs Hwoarang - Already mentioned before

Elena and Christie - The fighting styles are the same and also Elena should have more friends.

Deejay and Eddy - I don't know why... maybe if Tiger was in it that it would be an obvious but we do need some rhythm in the game right?

Cammy/Chun-Li and Nina/Anna - Although Xiaoyu's ethnicity would have made it obvious to pair with Chun-Li but I believe the original token girls of the Street Fighter II era should battle their Tekken 1 counterparts. Cammy and Nina both suffered amnesia, Cammy has come to terms with her past while Nina is still out of it. Chun-Li and Anna... uh.... are awesome... I guess but if that doesn't work out it sends me to my next point

Chun-Li vs Jun Kazama - I don't know why but I think this works!

Vega (Claw) and Raven - They both learnt Ninjutsu. We could use Geki from SF1 but I don't think he'll ever return!

Dudley / Balrog (Boxer) vs Steve - Obvious martial arts style is obvious.

Fei-Long vs Law - Obvious Bruce Lee reference is obvious

Guile and Paul - .... hair... I don't know anymore
