back in the KOIFT 4 story, would I be correct in saying that the battles of honmaru was the first time Kazuya and Jin ever met, (in person)?

It's not officially stated whether that's the first time they met or not; it's a reasonable conclusion to make though imo since nothing in the story suggests they met before that.

i know kazuya's ending pretty much shows that he knows jin is his son. he says "what?! why wont u change? is it becuz of that kazama blood!?"
his ending isn't cannon but u can look at it like hei and kaz's discussion before we see jin's nightmare before awakening.

He just wants to rule the world and other evil acts he does with the devil.

I don't think Kazuya knew that he had a son. Heihachi just told him that if he wanted to see his son he would come with him. And so he did. I would do the same thing if I didn't know I had a son.

Jin knows he's Kazuya's son 'cause Jun told him when he was 15.

Kazuya learned about Jin during the T4 storyline (when is never clearly stated but probably during the tournament since his prologue is completely focused on Heihachi). If you play through Kazuya's T4 story, he is waiting to fight Jin but is told to proceed to the final stage and figures out that Heihachi played a hand in Jin's disappearance. After he beats Heihachi, he asks to be taken to his son.

yes, he already knew he had a son. either its the devil instinct or g corporation figured out that jin also had the gene suggesting that kaz and jin are related. He must have also known the events of T3, and that jin (as heihachi's grandson) won it. It's not as though kaz was away for current affairs whilst at g corp.

kazuya and jin meeting hate is in the air if you asked me how did kazuya know that he have son Devil is the Answer.....and its shame to see that Kazuya Lost twice First Heihachi then to his Son...what an epic return...yeah right...I mean really honmaru was best stage ever made in Tekken series IMO along side with Arena
