I quite like both Maximum Impact games, so yes, I think they should have more 3D games.

The first Maximum Impact was actually my first KOF game. I later tried a few of the 2D ones though.

Most KOF fans will cite 98(UM) 2002 (UM) and XI. Stay away from 2001 at all costs. Worst KOF game ever made.

I played KOF12 for the first time today... Thank feck that game is already obselete and that the roster was too small for me to get it, cos it was bloody awful...

Only played one match and hated everything about it, especially the speed of the game. It just felt terribly slow!

XII was unfinished, but the base engine was great. The graphics were godlike, characters and backgrounds and specials aside from a few like Kyo's DM.
i bought it day 1 when it came out and played it with my friends for like a month or 2 then we went back to 98 and MIRA. XIII looks very promising though.
