Life Changing Moments?

Postby ***** » Tue Jan 31, 2012 2:28 am

So anyone experienced any life changing moments? and about what age?

I've had a few changes in my life here and there, but the biggest two changed was:

when I turned 14 till 17

I kinda hated that period to be honest, I was really popular at school and felt I had to put an "act" to keep it up. Nearly ruined my education system, to be honest I regret a lot of things I did during this age, but its over anyway.

17 probably the biggest turn around, I'm not gonna give cheesy storylines or anything like that, but this is the age when I became a practicing Muslim. A lot of things changed over time, during that period and now, tho bad habits are hard to kill personality wise I'd like to think I changed for the better. I'm also a lot happier than the previous life style I had, I'm still at the level I want to be at and I feel have been tweaked for the better as the years went on, especially when my brother came back from africa.

so yea, any life changing experiences you had?

Hm well...
I saw my sister get hit by a car when I was ten years old, we saw the bus and ran across the street to get it and we saw no cars, then this car came in and.....
It was my fault

There was nothing you could do, it wasn't your fault.

It happens in life, the question is, how are you going to handle it?
We were together in the night, and then she left me. At first, I had a painting of her in wood, then I had a relief of her in marble, and then, I had a picture of her... in my mind. But now, I no longer have even that.

I feel the same as you, except it's my grandma who died due to cancer when I was getting ready to enter 5th grade. My life greatly changed from that point.

It must be painful to lose someone near and dear to you. I hate the fact that when someone you love the most passes away, your life just goes Straight downhill towards depression.

That's what I went through last year. But you see, I was told that ''it's better to leave the past behind and focus more on what's ahead of you. Thinking back on the past just only brings more pain.'' my aunty told me that, And I really find it useful.
