Your Opinon On Marriage

First of all:

My parents are married for 32 years now, and there is often drama, but I think that's normal after such a long time.
Also it makes me sad to see how many marriages are divorced

But, I am for getting married.
To me it is something sacred, something that only should be done if both really love each other and see that not everything's perfect. Like, when they understand that the big lovey-dovey will become less over the time, when they are willing to solve problems together- when they really can see each other being together forever.

I also think that our cultures nowadays and the quicker lifestyle makes it harder to stay married- also the carving after change of some people are the reason for the divorces (in my opinion that is).

I mean, I heard people saying:"Staying with one partner for a long time is far too boring." and that made me sad.

Well, of course I wouldn't say you should marry someone you've only knew for a few months. I think the two who are getting married should know each other for several years and also live together before the marriage.

I love being married; I was also very, very happy for my older brother at his recent wedding.

I'm definitely for Marriage, I think it's very important, it's the biggest step you take whilst in a relationship.

I think a couple can live together and love each other without being married.

In adittion, getting married al least in my country,involves spending lots of money.

Maybe i'm too young ,but i think i will marry someone only if that person is really interested.

Still underaged (17), but I am not willing to marry. Probably have a girlfriend, but no marriage, neither some children to pass these bad gaming skills on.

Too much drama and hassle, I'd had to be loyal and never screw around with anything, don't find any fun from that. . And if you do, you will be just in trouble, which isn't fun either.
When a marriage eventually ends (due to unappealing relationship or something else), it will just be trouble, nothing else. I don't want to go through that.

And it's just that I don't feel like sharing every single thing with someone. I want to be my own master, have a relatevily good control over myself and my own damn life. (Again, this does not mean that I don't want a girlfriend.)

Call me stupid, rage at me, put me on the ignore-list, but I only backed up my silly claims. I want what I want for my life, marriage is not one of them. If you refuse to understand it, just accept it. Thanks.

I want to. But first, I wanna have a strong relationship with my partner and to live with him for a while to check if that will work for us. When being sure I'll happily marry him. ^__^

Anyway, marriage isn't necessary, but I don't see any reason to be against it.

I'm all for Marriage, if i meet that right girl. I think it's something two people can hold together. And, I also believe that some people are married, just not legally.

If you live together, love eachother, and do things married people do with eachother, then you're married. Whether you think so or not. The only difference is that you don't have the legal document.

I just think that so many people get married way too young. I mean, you're 18-21 and you reeeeally think you're ready to decide who you're gonna be with for the rest of your life? Me thinks not.

Especially here in Texas, where I've recently relocated. People gettin' married straight out of high school. I guess 'cause it's the bible belt and everything and it's just expected of people. Then they wonder why everything turns to shizz. Jenny starts goin' out to the bars with her girlfriends, comin' home dead drunk while Johnny's hooked on pills, playing video games all day. Neither of them know what they're really gonna do with their lives. Ya, that's really gonna last.

I think that marraige is cool. I have no problem with it but I just don't know why, if it's supposed to be a permanent deal, people can't just wait. I think late 20s-early 30s is a good time to get married.

Yeah loads of people are getting married at a young age, but it can work out!
My mum and dad met when they were 20 & 21 and 6 months later they got married (on my mums's 21st Birthday), they're still together now and their realtionship is still as strong as ever

I agree with the idea of marriage. I think it's nice. Traditional married couple with kids is always ideal in my book.
