We'll be getting a German Shepherd puppy at the end of the year so we can train it/be here in between my Uni breaks. Dee Dee's been lonely since we had to put Shanice down. I feel its kinda (KINDA) soon but, to be honest, I can't wait. I miss Shanice terribly, but I'm looking forward to having a new, big dog.

So I was talking with sous about puppies. You guys remember that a month ago I had to put my beloved dalmatian down. Well when I started to look through photos, I found some old ones of her when she was a puppy <3


Seven weeks old <3


About ten or so weeks old, with me, who was five >.>


Same time as above photo, with the older dog (at the time). She was a German Shepherd named Tara, who died in 2001 at the age of 14. I wish I had more photos of her, I miss her a bunch too <3

And I can really relate to how much you must miss your dogs We had 3 German Shepherds so far.

The first one came to us in 1996 and was already a full grown dog, my dad found him near the highway Someone abandoned that cutie. We never knew how old he really was, but the vet guessed him being 3-4 years old. He had to be put down in 2006.
His name was Dino


The second one is the son of Dino, my dad brought him in 2001 when the vet said he was very ill and wouldn't even survive a year. He's 9 now and called Rex. (Though he listens to almost every name you give him XD)


Last but not least was our third dog, called Jacky. My dad brought him in 2008 to make up for a promise he didn't keep.
Sadly Jacky didn't even turn 2, he had a heart disease which was only discovered after he had died. He was such a adorkable cutie, totally clumsy and he needed attention and care like a small child.

German Shepherds (right?)! I like them, one of the few breeds I actually like... So cute!

They are called "Wolf hounds" or "Wolf Dogs" here...

Anyways, cute dogs, nice to see how Rex made it through... And too bad for Jacky.

Yeah, it was really sad, and I was totally shocked when he died. He went on a walk with my dad and just collapsed there There was nothing we could do for him.

I feel really sorry that you lost Jacky ;__; He seemed to be one cute little gem in your family. I wish he lived longer...
