I got the Naruto Storm 2 and unlocked Lars. Is it worth paying 25€ to play as that one character with fluid battle system?

I am silly enough to say it freaking is. It_freaking_is. This guy's a combo machine, you need to work a bit with combos to get the best kind of damage output but it's sooo worth it. Unless the opponent manages to recover from Zeus (which can be comboed into, by the way) or reverses it during the combos.

An illustration of Lars from the Tekken novel The Dark History of Mishima--he's one of the major-ish characters (which should be a given, because he is a Mishima, even if that fact doesn't sit well with him) in the novel. I just recently acquired a copy, and while I can't read much Japanese, I know of someone who is apparently going to translate it.
But yeah; enjoy the illustration that I scanned up for you guys.

The character illustrations for the novel are really pretty. I've heard some snippets of what exactly goes on with Lars in the novel...pretty interesting stuff.

From what gathered, Lars first appears in page 76, which is early in the novel (he is confronted by Nina...as to the nature of the event, I can't tell you as I cannot Kanji to save my life!).

@sous: I will see if Cary's friend will permit the use of the translation notes; if I get my bro to translate anything, I'll send it to you. In the meantime, I will send you the high-res art. Let me tell you; from what I know of the novel, THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN BLOOD VENGEANCE, and not "Schoolgirl Antics, the Movie."

From the context I gathered...pretty much! I think in a way, Nina repsects Lars, because he's one of the few who has the balls to stand up to her. It'd explain why she's willing to brofist with him as a team in TTT2?

Possibly, it's a good theory. Nina knows he can't beat such a ballsy dude, so I guess she figured she might as well join him. Either that, or just a little extra thing Harada decided to put in, but I doubt it.

Honestly--and maybe it's my inner Nina fan speaking--I would be perfectly okay with Lars and Nina having a sort of mutual respect sort of thing going on. Of course, that's my own bias talking. I just feel that even though Lars betrayed Jin, Nina can't help but give Lars credit for organising it all so well--but they also are professionals, so it's a common ground. Again; my bias.

(And if you are reading, dear CC, you will be pleased to know that Dragunov makes an appearance in the novel.)
