Appeal To Bans + Warnings Thread

New Appeal System

As you have noticed moderators now have the ability to ban and warn users. However as great as the moderation team is on Tekken Nation, we are still at the end of the day human, and are vulnerable to mistakes from time to time.
If you feel, that perhaps you were misinterpreted or were unjustifiably banned/warned, you can use this thread to appeal your penalty. Users can still appear as guests in this thread, so even if your account was banned you will still be able to post here, (just make sure you state who you are).

However there are some rules you need to understand before using this thread. First of all aggressive posts may not be taken seriously, if you were indeed unjustifiably punished by a warning or a ban then you must be patient and put forward your complaint in a mature manor. Secondly if you misbehave either by abusing the thread by either cursing at the moderator or plain spam it, then you can either have your ban extended or have your IP blocked. Thirdly and most importantly, it is up to the moderator who punished you on whether or not your appeal was to succeed. The moderator maybe nice enough to reduce your ban or remove it , if you give TN a simple apology even if you did transgress, it will all depend on the moderator.

If you still think you were hard done by after you will have the chance to have a second appeal, in which either the Head Moderator or Admin will take care of the situation. However I advise you to do this only if you feel you were really hard done by. Immaturity or wasting the Head Mod/Admin’s time can lead to an extended ban too. So please remember not to abuse this new system. We are all human in the end and make mistakes, so just remember to be calm when you use this thread.

I was given a serious warning for insulting Melee Sovereign and CFW.
However if you look at my posts in this thread http://tekkennation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=99&t=7868&start=460 you can see that I didn't insult anybody and that everything I said was obviously tongue and cheek.
Secondly if you ask Melee and CFW if they felt insulted by me they will say that they did not feel insulted by what I said.
Go ahead and ask them.

I'm trying really hard not to brake the rules and it really upsets me when I get warned for no reason.

Fendrhodes it appears you have misunderstood, you were not given a warning as in " a strike warning", you were just warned by my moderator per say through PM as a caution.
Seeing as no penalty of punishment was put on you, I think you need to get over it and move on.

thanks for ruining everything deebo? you insulted my moderators, you spammed my forum, and after warning you about a hundred timed, you got your fourth warning, and poof you went. I treated you just like everyone else, 3 warning = ban. And instead of apologizing you came in and spammed up this thread to. I give you no sympathy for your actions, your IP will now be banned
