Vs Lili

First off, forget wat u heard about Lili's tracking. When you're on the ground and she's standing over you with her back turned, she'll track the heck [kaioken] out of you. And pleez dont be floored near a wall, she's more dangerous there. I'm sorry to disappoint some of you, but Zafina isn't really in bad shape in this match up. Yes Lili may have the upper hand in some situations but as Zafina you can take them away. But not her ground game. If you can force lili to beat u with only the ground game, Lili wouldn't be the threat she seemed to be. One thing. Lili's f+3+4. The second hit is fast and safe. But Lili players dont use just that. You'll see f+3+4 3. This when the move's d+1,1 interruptable. Next Lili's BT. df+3+4 is her main BT transition. Anything other then 1 is too slow, so she has to switch to d+1. You can either parry, or hopkick. df+3+4, 3+4 is a floater, but you wont find a descent Lili player finishing that. but incase i'm wrong, use df+1 or 1. df+1 may cause Lili to fly over your head. Next is lili's uf+4 mix-ups. after blocking her overhead, you can sidestep. but if you noticed no movement, you might be in danger of her db+4. Watch lili carefully, when shes doin the u+3+4, 3 3+4. This is a move you'll see if you're in WR or the game is about to come to a close. u can uf+1 Lili after the first flip. Dont dont look for it from gr8er lili players, it dont come out that often. Last thing is her forward step. the best thing lili have coming out that is the 3+4. most times, you'll see db+4. which ever she has planned, use her db+2. I think it's good for her BT position too. I know Lili is extremely tough to fight, i've lost to her plenty times. Her side step is off the wall, her launchers can come out of nowhere, the df+3+4 has great range. But she must be contained.

Vs Xiaoyu

This is how you know your Zafina is topnotch when you're able to keep up with Ling. Ling Xiaoyu is all about movement and spacing. Rain Dance, Phoenix, Rolling backwards or forward, spinning sideways, and away from you. The girl is unreal. Sometimes it's impossible to catch her. Some ppl are able to hit her out of BT. I dont take that chance cuz she can launch you and take the hit, and still able to pick up on her combo. Her back roll and always be stopped by her 1+2 or b+1+2. Moving to her phoenix. her most annoying move is her uf * 3. Ling can be about dead in rage mode and get in BT into phoenix and poll off a rage combo as a wake game. If you haven't seen this move enough, you will once you play a high level Xiaoyu. Her defense is so strong that she can sidestep from raindance, crush mids in phoenix (tappin' down) or crush lows with uf * 3 or uf+3,3_4, has 3 or 4 different parries. (one works like lei wulong drunken stance) Ling is really good at resetting, as a post bound you ff+1~d into u+4, or BT df+4. Her ground game is so sick. She can jump over you and use her BT 3 or use the f+3+4 and do the same or go into AoP from there. The phoenix stance seemed broken cuz you think you have her in that stance with her back turned and then u get popped in the air and u'r thnking (where did that come from?)

Lings moves to be on the look out for

f+2+3 (i dont know how to fall to ground or turn around but if u know, thats your option)

Vs Craig Marduk

Against Marduk you'll have some issues. For one is his throw set ups. He has a grab for a combo starter. To make matters worse, you dont have to be standing to be a victim of it. If you stay floored against Marduk, you're endangering yourself to a ground grab. Trying to roll away you'll get pushed by the b+3. He has a lot of options when you're on the ground so i suggest you step back from him where he's a lesser threat. From a distant Marduk would likely go for the f+2+3. You could easily sidestep it. Marduk's FC df+4 has reach and if you're trying to attack afterwards you'll be launched by his uf+3 or ws 3. From a distant, his tackle cant be escaped. You'll see him in the ready stance from a distance playing mindgame. But if you're sure that the tackle is coming from a distant get in TRT. If you're lucky he'll jump over you. If not, you'll take little damage. But you'd rather give up that much than to get tackled. Marduk's best offense is his 1,2 mix-ups. 1,2 f+1 gives frame adv and 1,2 df+3 1+2 would catch you if you're ducking. Around tight stages with wall breaks especially, you should be on the look out for some heavy hittin mids. His f+3+4 can be seen coming, but if your reflex isn't sharp, you'll eat this everytime.
