Hey I'm trying to pick up Leo as a candidate for a secondary character. I need a general combo that you use all the time. Also some good pokes! She seems like a good fit for Lars!

Lucky you. Lars/Leo happens to be one of best teams in the game. I forget the open ground combo if Leo starts but anyway.

Starting from Lars. These should work.
f+1+2~5 f,f+4,3~5 d/b+2~f SE d/f+1~5 TA! [Leo: f+3~d BOK1,2] f,f+2~f SE1_3(~5)

f,b+2,1~5 [Leo: f+3~d BOK4 KNK1~d BOK1,2] f,f+2~f SE1_3

At wall
Lars: W! f,b+2,1~5 [Leo: f+4~d/f~d/b ws141] f+4,1,2,1
Leo: W! b+2,1+2~5 [Lars: 1+2~b f+4,1,2,1] ws141 (Either the combo meter is broken or I suck. Because the dummy doesn't tech out if I set it to but the game doesn't count it as a combo either)

As for Leo's pokes. She's practically the same character she was in BR + some "meh" strings. So the stuff in the BR thread still apply

Your basic jabstring. h,h. -1 on block. +7 on hit. Gimmicky followup with 1,2,1,1_1,2,1,4 for those who are not patient. Crazy damage.

d/f+1
Basic i13 mid. doesnt track. -1 on block. +7 on hit.

d/f+4
Looks like a generic i12 d/f+4. But it's actually i13. Shocking.

qcf+1
pretty much the same as Drag d+2. Neutral on hit and ch. -13 on block

d+4
i16 low poke. -1 on hit. -12 on block

d+3+4
Generic d4. -2 on hit. -13 on block. instant high crush and tracks

d+1
Good range. -1 on block and a juggle on CH. Doesn't track anywhere. d+1~D will make Leo recover in FC

df2+3
Good low. +5 on hit, a juggle on ch and only -11 on block. Crushes all highs.

qcf4
Instant generic ws4

BOK1
Good range, crushes well and tracks both ways.


I recommend watching Only practice matches from YT. He plays alot of good Lars/Leo.

The same thing happens if you follow up that Lars W!TA with Bryan's f+2,1,4.

Is BOK1,2 safe on block?

And how many frames is ws4? Cause I found out it can counter the last 2 hits of Jun's db4,4,4,3 and give a juggle.
Also, a good Leo player should know not to complete the whole ws3,1,2 string, right? Since it's not NC so the last hit is duckable.

BOK 1,2 is -14 on block with some pushback.

ws4 is i11 just like any other generic one. Altough Leos is different because it has a bigger hitbox than your average ws4.

ws312 is pretty useless outside of combos. It's NCc now but just CH confirming the last hit means taking a -15 risk.
