Welcome to the Kick of Iron Noobs Tournament.
I had a realy cool role as 1 of the superiors @ TN but..

Theyve only fought me a few times online. an' MD took my spot as best online playa, some ppl think Im not tough!

And since Ive betrayed CT, he might think Im one of those heartless Kaz CD41 spamming types!

Not to mention. I had the misfortune of teaching Jes how to be good with that noob Char, Bob!

And the worse part is. I ended up getting an ulcer from all the stress.

So just call me Flash Edge, rebelling against his pure conscious.

As true as those words may be, I'm horrible with the Arcade Stick. And I don't know of any Tekken 5 DR machine near me, but I do know of a Tekken 6 BR machine about 45 minutes from where I live. 8) But I can't just go there all the time.

you won't believe the amount of a$skicking i got before i finally learned to backdash cancel on stick.
i also ate my fair share of mids whenever i tried to crouchdash and it just turned out as a mere crouch.

believe me, an arcade stick of your own is a very good investment for any Tekken player.

And yeah, mostly Spanish players have kicked me out of online matches.

At one point, there was a player online, that sent me a few invites during a few days. After a while I finally decided to kick his arse to shut up(I lost him before once). He was using King, and I used Kazuya only. I mostly just kicked this player's arse time and time again, breaking the same throws he did and then this dude decided to choose Bryan at one point. He only won with him. [??]
I thought we had some sort of "mind-games" on the character select screen, since when I was random, the other player chose King and I picked Kazuya right after that, but when I took Kazuya before the other player did choose his character, he always took Bryan.

After some beatings I gave to him, he left. No kicking, which surprised me. :o

Yeah the kicking from lobby makes me rage so much aswell, this is why I just go on quick match and only do lobbies with friends or if I feel that I want mutli random people to join. (which is a rare thought on my part)

However whenever I do host a lobby I wont kick if I lose or somthing, Ill let all play happily and ignore requests from other players to kick some one. It just ruins the experiance for all players when there is some person whom thinks that just because they lost or just plain feel like it decide to kick all players in lobby, In fact I think some people actually just make lobbies to kick people. lol

I wont deny I have kicked people from my own lobbies in past, but I always send a message apologizing and telling why, and the times I did kick them? It was when I had to go and I knew i would not be back for while.

That's because Italy is shaped like a boot.

This is why I stick to quick/player match instead of ranked:

Being kicked indiscriminately is one of my pet hates. If I go into a lobby and the opponent proves they are too good for me over three or four games, I don't really mind being kicked because they won't be gaining anything from the experience. The same applies if the connection is wobbly but otherwise, I think it is the height of bad manners to eject someone for the sake of it (especially when the option exists to create private slots).

It almost makes me feel ashamed of being a competitive Tekken player! [frustrated] [kaioken]

Kick! Kick! Kick! Is that all you people do now-a-days?!! Yeah, I tried hosting my own room, but no one ever hops in! I just wanna play online, but no one will let me!! I bet a lot of you are like this too! [kaioken] Shame on you!!!

They should make it like GTA IV where all the players in the room have to vote on who gets kicked out, not one effing person having the power to kick someone out! Hopefully in Tekken 6, but I doubt it! But I can dream! :l [frustrated]

I know exactly what you mean too which is why I play amongst friends. I wouldn't mind fighting you sometime though.

I feel everyone's pain here. I really don't understand why people kick players out of the lobby just because they joined, even if you patiently wait for a match to end. It just doesn't make any sense. [shrug]

I mean, did they forget to put their lobby private? It shows you right at your face the option to make private slots while making a lobby, so it's not like they could miss it. [lurk]

"What's that? You don't want other players to join? You just want you friends to fight you? Well, you see that little option that says 'Private Slots'? F***ING USE IT, JACKASS!" [frustrated]

Seriously, it really gets on my freaking nerves sometimes. x\

I used to always get kicked out of the lobbys when I had Coco Bandicoot as my avatar. I changed it (not cos I was gettin kicked btw) and i've hardly been kicked out since, no mess haha :S
I find the Spanish players (no offence intended there) are the ones to kick me out the most.

I've had some pretty decent lobby matches with people from Holland :)

Unknown Drive i have the same exact reaction as you, why the hell arent they using the private slots if they dont want random people to join, its pretty annoying [mad]

I actually had this incident while ago where i joined a random room with yellow connection it was 3/4 players and i noticed Cobra Commander was the host and there was some Lei player from TZ too called Locolei, so i thought it would be fun to play against them especially Locolei but i got kicked after waiting because he didnt make it a private slot but didnt want people to join either.

@Qeruberosu: Seriously... people need to learn to read before they make lobbies. [lurk]

Kicking someone from a lobby because they're too good is understandable. You want to try fighting someone else instead of constantly getting beaten, or get on with playing with your friends. However, kicking someone before they even fight to prove themselves, doesn't make a lick of sense.

(sigh) I just don't get people sometimes. [shrug]

Some people just kick 'cause the connection isn't great.

For example, Players in Cobras' servers usually all have green with each other. I wouldn't be suprised if you got kicked with yellow connection. Your connection also affects others in the room.

It even happens with a few green connections aswell. Sometimes, it just gets laggy, and if it's noticable (even by a little) I'll kick whoever just joined, even if they had a green bar. I'd give any player in the green zone a chance to play, but if they lag the server; they get kicked.

Personally, I find it really annoying when I host and I get people with yellow bar and under joining. Online is ridiculous enough as it is.

This. Some people are very picky about this. They only want green or higher.

Also, there's always the possibility that the host sets the room up without private slots because they don't have any friends on Tekken at the moment. The room fills up, then a friend gets on Tekken and sends a message saying "inv" or whatever. So, somebody's gotta go and you just get the shortest straw.

You can never really be too sure why you got kicked, unless they tell you why, so I don't take offense or get upset. I just find another room. That goes for Tekken or any other game I'm playing online. I try not to make assumptions.

The same thing goes for connection errors. There have been a few instances where I've been dropped from a match and then recieved a message saying "Y U QUIT? U SCARED?" or something like that. I would then proceed to either prefer them, so that we'd be matched again, or make a private room and invite them. I would then destroy them. This actually happened a couple days ago. I was fighting an Alisa and he won the first round. I then got dropped from the match before the 2nd round started. I got a message saying "awwww poor baby". I preferred him and proceeded to demolish his Alisa the next time we were matched(about 15 min later).

So, when it says "connection to the opponent has been lost", don't automatically assume it to be a rage-quit. It might come back to bite you.

Exactly, I kick if I don't want to wait for my rematch, or if the connection's bad, or if a friend wants to get online last minute, or if the person just sucks.
