I tried to select characters based on the assumption that some of the more iconic characters would already be included. ie a vote for Ryu would be pretty VOID right? I had to vote for Kunimitsu and Dr. B. Seemed logical. I think for a cross over you want to see a bit more variety if you've got a limited roster. I do think however if Ganryu and E honda or Law and Feng (Street Fighter) are in the same place it could cause the universe to implode, some sort of temporal causality or something. Clones

I think the votes for characters like Ryu, Jin and the characters who might as well be confirmed already are those who haven't followed the hype of Tekken X Street Fighter at all and are just voting for their favourites.

Lol, and here I foolishly thought Michelle had some huge, underground following. When I finished voting and saw the results, I was pleasantly surprised. Hopefully, it will go unnoticed. I could definitely see Harada using the spammer argument for Kuni to justify her absence even though she's the highest character after the Kazamas.

Yeah, I'm really pissed at that! Anna and Nina both rose about 20 places too. Not particularly fair on other characters who are genuinely more requested than those 3, who are being pushed back further down the rankings.

And I really hope Harada doesn't disregard it completely, since the top 15 or so have remained stable throughout. It's also a really good indicator of Kuni's popularity, since Harada always dismisses her as having "no fans." So if he takes anything from the poll, hopefully it'll be that.

What this poll tells me is that Namco are up for bringing in characters that haven't been in either franchise in a while. I'm really hoping this means Street Fighter III characters and at least one Tekken character that wasn't in Tekken 6 (I mean SFXT had four new Street Fighter characters after all).
