ofcourse. if they can calculate the money on the game now from the fans pre-ordering, it might be at 2 million now. LOL!!! hopefully it is. the game have 1v1 and 1v2-2vs1 on the tag system. more characters than ever. i think MvC2 had over 50 but it can still pass it if not already. the fight lab is new for newcomers. i hope it teaches you how to punish moves of your choice. i mean we're gettin more than wat we asked for. ofcorse this game will make it to 2 mil

For being a Tekken Tag game, you will get at least a million people buying it for enjoying the old Tag game, I know loads of people who quit Tekken, who are now consider Tag 2 solely because its a tag game. I think this game will reach 4 million to be honest

It's all but given considering what we're potentially getting from this game. They really just need to turn up the hype during the summer and they'll pretty much have that goal in the bag.

They're flying down. This game is no SFxTK or SCV; it's flooded with fanservice; they can't easily make more out of that.

Every Tekken game has sold at least 2 million combined copies so I don't see why this one wouldn't either.

Breezy SFXT isnt really a Tekken game, and its been only been out for 2 months. I can see what xOCx is saying, here are the sales for the tekken games created by namco:

Tekken 1: 3.18 million copies
Tekken 2: 5.45 million copies
Tekken 3: 6.91 million copies
Tekken Tag 1: 4.63 million copies
Tekken 4: 3.28 million copies
Tekken 5: Around 6 million copies
Tekken 5 DR: Over 2.2 million copies
Tekken 6: 3.5 million copies sold.

tekken 6 sold 3.5 million and im pretty sure tag 2 will sell a lot more than tekken 6, I do expect a figure round about 4 million

SF x T hasn't been out that long and it has been hurt by terrible PR, the bad rep due to Capcom's terrible business practices for DLC characters and content, bad word of mouth over all the problems Capcom has yet to fix in addition to Capcom also scaring off people from buying their (fighting) games right away now due to their habit on making an update to it later (especially with how UmvC3 came out less than a year after MVC3 and didn't even have an upgrade option). So that figure is very ipmressive for a two month time span despite all those negatives against it. Plus as Deebo said, it's not a Tekken game and is more a SF game with Tekekn guest stars so it was geared more toward Capcom fighting game players anyway.

TTT2 will sell minimum 2 million copies easily. I expect it to max out at 4 million lifetime sales.

not really many people didnt want to buy sfxt at the start due to fear that capcom will just rerelease the game ala ssf4 and umvc3 and many didn't want to buy it after hearing the bad rep ttt2 will have none none of those problems

No they said they wouldn't be releasing a Super SFxT because of patching early in the game's promotion. People expected to sell because its capcom and people always buy capcom(for the most part anyways.) Obviously it isnt a Tekken game >_>. Many thought it would ride on MVC3's and SF4's coatyails when it comes to sales.

The game was promoted well...well besides the time when gems were introduced.

Of course Tekken will make over 2 million BUT that's usually over time. Tekken needs a really big opening sale imo.

i knew that its just many didn't take their word for it also you miss the part about the dlc hack just before the games launch day its those little things that can affect a games sales plus their was this little game called Mass Effect 3 that affected the sales as well ttt2 will be released right at the closing of evo so people will be in the mood for fighters while its true god of war 4 is coming out on september tag 2 has been showing lots of promise and if cool stuff are showcased at e3 2 million in a month seems likely not certain likely

Capcom has said MANY things this generation which were flat out lies after they went against what they said. Some things said about SF x T were lies and when they got called out on them they tried to cover them up and failed. On their facebook page, they stopped making posts about SF x T since people kept slamming the game for all its problems, their DLC BS, their bad PR with them trolling the fans and how they don't buy new Capcom games anymore due to possible updates in the future. It got so bad that Capcom actually deleted the posts entirely. There would just be hundreds of comments with only a few typical Capcom defenders. Capcom hurt SF x T themselves with their horrible treatment of its fans the past few years.

The other day Capcom finally admitted that the game had problems after even their Japanese fans slammed the game hard and said that major changes would probably be coming to the game. Can't say they didn't deserve it. But yeah, I don't put anything past Capcom this generation at all. SF x T will most likely reach 2 million by the end of the year. TTT2 will reach 2 million within a year's time. Won't take that long.

hehehe so funny, how are they hypocrites ? just because they play it doesnt mean they cant hate it. I hate tekkens emphasis on juggles, the new terrible designs but i still play it.
