Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Hype Train (General Thread)

Umm, so yah. This is just a thread to generally hype about it and have an e-orgasm over the prospect of yet another Tag game.

The old TTT2 forum went down and we had a similiar thread where the game was announced and people were generally just talking. I thought we could do w/ one of those to stop people making gazillions of threads about random things. Didn't really know what to call it, so a mod can change it if they have a strong wave of OCD.

I'm also excited about TTT2...

However, since I didn't play TTT (1), it doesn't hold any special meaning to me. I think I may prefer classic 1v1's more, but I guess 2v2 is also cool.

Honestly, TTT2 will convert you.

Especially after the lack lustre Tekken 6, you'll honestly see how much we as fans were missing out on classic, amazing Tekken. I don't know how things will work out w/ bound incorporated into it now and such, but I can't see it being anything than uber fun.

It might actually get me playing characters outside the realms of Kuma and Panda.

This > Tekken X SF and vice-versa. Infact this > Tekken 6. LOOOL.

2v2 is amazing mainly cause it already makes it feel the characters interact imo.

Tekken 6 was just fine with me, at least with what I've managed to play of it... I played almost all of the Tekken games (Excluding T2, TTT and T:DR). I found T6 just fine... Though I did expect more, yeah.

And yeah, character interactions sound fun...

You probably liked Tekken 6 because you didn't play DR, then.

To me, presentation wise mostly, Tekken 6 was just a slightly upgraded Tekken DR. For me, the bound and rage additions just went over my head. I didn't care for them and still don't. Sure, it makes juggles and the matches in general a little more exciting but you have to make the game as a whole as exciting too. Which for me, it isn't. Tekken 6 was just amazingly bleh.

But yeah, end rant. You'll love TTT2. Srsly.

DR was probs the most fun tekken game for me after TTT. I love TTT and cannot wait for TTT2, it will be amazing!!
Seriously Xyk, although its old style tekken, if u have a ps2 go get a copy of TTT (it works on ps3's, but runs at half the speed )

With Tekken Tag 2 on the way, I'm seriously going to have to get my PS3 internet-enabled, for serious. But man, I'm really looking forward to playing what's gonna be an all-around fun Tekken game.

I have a feeling the cgi's will be released soon, I mean, 2011 release kinda makes it as suck!! But absolutely excited, been playing a heap of TTT1 since the announcement, it's just so exciting that this game is finally coming you know.

I wanted to post something with the same level of excitement I had a few days ago, but the moment is really gone. I mean I'm still excited, but the "ZOMG THERE'S A NEW TEKKEN GAME COMING OUT!!!!!ONEONEONEELEVENTYONE" is no longer there.

I've just realised they all have the same outfits ... again. I know to most people that doesn't phase you but I find it so boring and gross to look at the same design repeatedly for 6 years. At least the stages look semi-awesome.

I kinda hope there's a story mode (PLEASE NO SCENARIO BS), canon or not. Because Online gets super boring super quickly for me and i'd like there to be an offline mode with a point outside the realm of "to get better at the game". Idc about getting better at the game, I just wanna play and enjoy it.
