LIONZ-DEN TRAILER


This will be a very exciting/fun event, including tournaments for Tekken 6 and Street Fighter X Tekken (both on PS3), as well as casual game setups, and an in-house Subway sandwich bar.

Important Information:

Date: Friday 27th April 2012
Doors Open: 7pm. You can play casuals from this time onwards
Tournament Start Time: 7.30pm
End time: Expected to end around 11.30pm (so you shouldn’t have trouble with last trains/buses).

£5 per person for venue entry + tournament entry + casual play.
£3 per person If your a student, Yes student discount
Over 18s only – you MUST have ID!

Prizes will be kept a secret

Bring your own PS3 controller. We will not be providing any dedicated pads or sticks, so you MUST bring your controller (and USB cable ).

I've revamped the directions to the venue.
Not that the original one was wrong, but this one should be clearer and more guaranteed:


Lionz Den will be held at the Space Bar, at Kingston University’s Penhryn Road campus.

Address: Space Bar, Kingston University Students Union, Kingston University, Penrhyn Road, Kingston KT1 2EE

If you are coming by car, there is FREE PARKING!!!!!!!
Just put the above postcode in your satnav and skip to the entrance picture at the bottom!

Directions by Public Transport:

1) The venue is between Surbiton and Kingston Rail stations.
Check the Rail Map here: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/ ... es-map.pdf
Both stations are in the bottom left (square B-5), travelcard zone 6.
You can easily get trains there from Waterloo (very frequent).

I would personally recommend going to Surbiton, as the trains are faster, and the bus routes are simpler.
Either way, best to PRINT out both this page and the maps linked below, before you leave your house!

2a) Directions from Surbiton Station

Take any of these buses, towards Kingston:
65 (24hr), 514, 515, K3, 281, 465
Get off at Kingston University (ask the bus driver to tell you when you get there, should be 5-10 min bus ride), and you’re there!

You can use it to walk (15min walk) to the venue instead of bus, if you're a soldier lol

2b) Directions from Kingston Station

From Kingston station, go to Cromwell Road Bus Station (round the corner, just ask someone)
Then take any of these buses, towards Surbiton:
65 (24hr), 281, 71, 514, 406, 418
Get off at Kingston University (ask the bus driver to tell you when you get there, should be 5-10 min bus ride), and you’re there!
